hello world!
first..let me thank all those who gave me suggestions where to buy jigsaw puzzles!
i bought one at jigsaw world at tampiness mall.
darn expensive... like $72 for a 500 piece puzzle and its frame.
oh well... my hand was too itchy i guess!!
my elder bro was like.... die la your husband! wahahahaha.
ok bro...i'll try to spend lesser! promise :)
today was fun!
went out with my girls (Shu Fung, Amanda, Yamon)
we ate lunch at little india!!hahaha.
how long can we eat the same old chicken rice/ western food?!
needed some spice and zest in our food.
and also because i was vegetarian for this month.
yeah,so we went indian and ate some good indian lunch :P
hahaha
then, we headed to see this movie called Semi Pro at Vivo..
funny movie sia!
and i particularly liked one line that they used in the movie.
ELE.
yeah.
EVERYBODY LOVES EVERYBODY :)
when u catch that movie.. you will understand la.
hahaha.
came home and fixed some of the puzzle pieces and settled to watch this hindi movie called
Rang De Basanti.
gosh, i know it came out long long ago.
But i didn't have a chance to watch it till today.
my god.
it was so touching and very moving.
no wonder it went on to become a blockbuster hit!
so much for the movies..
mom is going to india this sunday.
:(
im gonna miss her like mad.
I only got to spend a few months with her in the past 1 and a half years.
its sad la.
no more home cooked meals.
no one will smile and say welcome back home after a tiring day.
no one will nag me to do things.
the only comforting thing is that she will be coming back in a few months.
i really hope she comes back before june 7th.
i wanna spend my bday with all my family members.
at least for now, elder bro will be here.
SCL stuff keeps me busy.
like a drug of happiness for all the things im gonna miss so badly.
like dad said, it's a sacrifice.

you have a good night.

i was disappointed.
where to get good jigsaws sia?
i suddenly have a craving to start fixing some!
if anyone knows where... can tell me? *thanks :)*

I am reading a book now called "GETTING RID OF MATTHEW"
and one interesting testimonial for the book was:
'This is better than reading your best friend's diary, it's like reading your worst enemy's diary'
hahahaha
nice rite!!!
but i don have any worst enemy as far as i know.
i may get angry but it doesn't for too long.
:)

why is it very difficult for some of us to treat everyone equally?
why is it that some of us cant even be a little courteous?
not all the people we meet in our lives are gonna be cool and happening like the rest
you tend to meet some different people too.
and these people could be better than the rest altho their looks and their body language might not be the same.
i mean ... pretending to respect and then just teaming up against that poor soul wont do good.
seriously.
if everyone has to be pretty/ handsome/ talk perfect english/ dress up to go with the crowd..
then all will be perfect rite?!
is this world a perfect one?!
you tell me.
will you ever want people to look down on you altho u have all the good qualities but just because you are a lil different?..
no matter how i say rite...
some people just don get it.
and some others will never get it.
it's sad.
and the world is a cruel place.
agreed.
it is a very cold world out there.
nice people are in the verge of extinction.
if you don believe, you will soon realize.
what a world it is out there.

i know.
coz i have been thru.
not once.not twice.
many.

but i have to say, i am blessed with more loved ones that hated ones :)

next time, prehaps you could be more courteous to everyone around you
just try being one
and see the true happiness in the face of others.
its not impossible to like someone
you have to try
you can always learn how to like someone
it's all in you.
believe me.

have a good night :)

mentally i mean.
i am confused.
over pretty alot of stuffs.
kinda fought back at my mom just now.
feeling damn guilty.
and come to think of it.
the real reason why i behaved such ... i dono.
it took me a while to say sorry.
she forgave me instantly :)

i think i am in a mess.
like totally.
i just dono how to explain.

i will clear that up soon.
and i must stop thinking nonsense.
that's exactly what i have been doing for the past few nights.

i have one word to describe my day today.
HILLARIOUS!
really.
earlier today... the EXCOs met Ms Ler, Ms Diong and Mr Michael.
Mr Michael, you rock la.
He is such a funny guy sia!
we were discussing about FO games la..
then there is this station , the riddles station.
suddenly some of the came up with riddles.

Here to share some.

From Ms Ler,

Which is the most dangerous city in the world?
Ans: Electricity

From Mr Michael,
What did the hat say to the tie?
Ans: You hang around while i go ahead.

Get it?!
i mean you might find it lame or whatsoeva..

but at that moment ah...
when the lecturers came up with these kinda things ah..
we all laughed our heads off la.
It was a great "chat" with them la.
they are fun people.

then.. we had EXCO meeting...
w/o the lecturers.
i should say it was one of the best EXCO meet so far.
wouldn't you agree my EXCOs?
hahaha
:P

i mean i cant really reveal the details
coz its TOP SECRET.
You will know very soon.
If i tell you know, it will spoil all the fun
:)

It was damn draining on us
coz the meeting only ended close to 6.
we used up our brain juice to the maximum!
hahaha.
hope all will turn out well :)

sat and sun should be my "free" days.
i only have a tuition on sat
and on sunday... one of our family friend invited us for dinner.
coz her son scored 5A in A levels and so she wanted to share the joy with us.
i was like. whoa!
it's not easy you know!
congrats krish!
a job well done :)

You can expect something very unexpected soon!

have a good night :)

yeah.
the second day of OGL training was much better!
hahaha.
val and wyd did good.
and the OGLs were great themselves.
very independent group.
the funniest moment was when abu described my eyes.
wad the hell?!
he was like so exaggerating and said that it can pierce thru your heart!
woahhhhh.
hahahaha.
and guess what's the theme for this year OGLs?
MUSTANGS!!!!
:)

if you don't know what is MUSTANGS rite...
it's from the movie gridiron gang.
a darn good movie i would say.
its to boost team spirit.
if you have the time go watch it ok?!

during the OGL training...
i took some time off to go to the temple coz it was an occasional day mom said.
guess wad?!
i met my cousins!!!did not meet them in a year i guess!
i was so freaking excited la!
all were younger than me but... you know...
the happiness in meeting your cuzzies!!!
all look darn dashing sia!
i was like WHOA!hahaha.
not bad ah the boys in my family... they are getting better as the years go.
we had a great time la.

then after everything..
went back home..
the weather these few days..
heaven i would say..if you are a homely person.
wahahaha.
but seriously...
there's nothing like reading a story book lying on your bed while sipping ice apple tea!
whoaaaaa.
such a relaxed feeling sia!
i'm reading this book called UNDOMESTIC GODDESS by Sophie Kinsella!
to me, its a great book i would say.
somehow i can relate.
maybe coz i find housework the most difficult work in this whole wide world.
hahahahahaha

i have a busy day ahead.
and a meeting with the lecturers' on Freshmen Orientation .
and following that an exco meeting on mapower allocation.

this holiday is flying by right infront of my eyes!
somehow, im happy about it.

SPECIAL THANKS TO: YAMONEEEE!

thanks for calling me up to find out whether i was ok. Thanks for your concern! really appreciate it sweets! i was touched :)

you guys have a great day!

very disappointing.
sometimes i think why did i commit so much and put my heart into IT
come to think of it i am not even supposed to run it.
i don think i asked for too much from THEM.
be playful when you need to and be serious when you need to
Wad is the point of being playful all the way?!WIll you learn anything?
some people just don get it.
i am not gonna waste my energy anymore.
from now on.. i will just do wad i am supposed to
OVERSEE.
i think i should just keep quiet and observe.
I have tried my best.
The best is not working...so....
I'll STOP.
yeah, as he said... im too hard on myself.
I love myself too much to hurt it.
But i cant help it when others hurt it

Sorry.
If you really mean when you say it..i appreciate it.
but you know something?
sorry really has no cure
It's like you stab someone in their heart and you say sorry..you think its gonna help?

I am not mad at anyone.
Im just disappointed.
Just don't make me regret.
It's all up to you.

*for some readers..if you guys don't get it.. don bother understanding it.. just hope my next entry will be a better and happier one*

you have a good day.
and mine will get better soon.

LTC is over. PHEW!

hahaha.

it was good especially the performance part was GREAT! :)
wad an experience!

totally satisfied with my EXCOs attitude and their effort during the camp.
REGINA was excellent!
all her effort and her hardwork paid off!
my favourite part was the performance.
all the EXCOs learnt to dance for a korean song in less than an hour and we performed quite well i think. hahaha
the practising part was darn funny seh.
laughing all the way.
For the fotos ah... i have to wait la coz its with my friends... will upload as soon as i get it.

and oh yeah.

A note to my angel,

*Shang Feng*

I am so sorry.. i didn't realize it was you!
actually to come to think of it... you did "take care" of me during the camp sia!
u even sent me a good night msg to my hp!
but i was so dumb. i couldn't guess that it was you.
Now, after i realized it was you...
thank you dear angel for your concern during the camp!
i appreciate it LOADS :)

next is OGL Training session.
I have yet to prepare my presentations for it and it is on coming tuesday!

today was the LTC dry run.
it went on ok..
kinda lost my cool but i couldn't help it.
it usually happens during camps
oh well... no point talking about it
i didnt really mean to 'scold' anyone..
i'm still a nice person :)
hahaha

when i came home today..
elder bro prepared for me a peanut butter sandwich.
so sweet :)
and then we were watching TV together....
we saw this program on Arts Central about

BUDHIA.

wat an inspiration that 4 year old was!
he ran 67 km without stopping!
let me tell you a little about Budhia.

Dad: Heavy alcohol drinker ; abuses family
Mom: Has 4 children, Budhia is the youngest. Monthly salary: less than 3 pounds a month.

His dad spends more than half of it drinking. Budhia was sold for 10 pounds to his coach at at the age of 3. His coach accidentally discovered that Budhia has an extraordinary ability to run. You know how he discovered?
When he first adopted Budhia and brought him over to his place, Budhia was very rude to his students. Budhia's coach has his own judo academy in a small town in East India. So, as a punishment, Budhia was asked to run continuously until the coach came out and told him to stop. But what happened was, the coach forgot that he gave the small boy the punishment....and went out. When he returned after six hours, Budhia was still running! can you imagine?!
Since then, he has been training Budhia to run and he wants Budhia to become an olympic champion one day. His training is darn hard and he never lets the boy to drink water while running . Some say, its a very inhuman decision to let a 4 year old to run over 60 km! But the coach believes that there is nothing wrong. The whole program itself moved me la.

I'm not gonna comment on anything but all i can say is he is the first 4 year old to move me this much.

Hats off to you Budhia.

The champ and his proud coach.
